I like to think about projects and where I want to be in a couple of years. Making sure the MVP I build puts me in a good position to get there...eventually.
We won't be there at the end of the MVP! However, knowing where you want to go makes it easy to ensure you're heading in the right direction.
Rather than having to backtrack later we can head off in the right and build some momentum.
As someone who builds a lot of projects, for myself and for others I think about selling those projects.
Often it's because I don't have the time to continue building them, or I don't feel that I'm the right person to grow them, or because I need the cash a sale might bring for other purposes.
There are a number of places that I could list those projects to sell, but I don't feel like they really hit the nail on the head for makers looking to seeing their projects.
Most of these marketplaces are flooded with sites that built specifically to be sold on these marketplaces, the quality of the seller and the buyer leaves a lot to be desired.
Where I have sold projects i the past, most have been private sales where people reached out to me, looking to buy a project. This shows me the current market has room for growth and perhaps a different opportunity for buyers and sellers.
I'm gonna let everyone think about the idea and in the next post I'm going to discuss what exactly I would build for my MVP.
